My review:

I have not read any books for Tara, and I have to say that I loved this story. I loved the reality of Mick and how he grew up. All I kept thinking was how many kids out there really grew up like that. It honestly broke my heart. I was mad at Mick at some points in the book and yet yearned to comfort him as he started to realize how sweet Jerry truly was.

I felt for Jerry, he was relatable in the since of not finding the one that made you feel complete. Through Jerry I saw a strength that I understood was needed for Mick.

This was a great story and I am going to have to read the rest of this series.
