For myself every year I make a resolution. They are silly but it is our tradition in my family. Our resolutions range from no caffeine to not eating a whole bag of M&M's in one sitting. Yes the whole bag of M&M's belongs to me :)
However, no matter the resolution, path or dream. Believe in yourself and take it one day at a time.
For myself I am glad for the end of 2012 as it brought me a dream. I wrote and published my first book. I look forward to 2013 because it is my hope that I will finish 2013 out with 3 more books published
I can't wait to see what comes, bring on 2013
Have a fantastic new year! Thanks very much for the chance :)

I've decided no resolutions for me, I'm not very good at the follow through, so instead I'm setting goals. My goals are to be gentle with myself as I try to lose weight, one mess up doesn't mean I have to quit trying and to make as many good memories with my loved ones that I can.

I've never made resolutions, but I have a short-term goal to finish editing my current novel. It's actually my ninth book, but I guess I've always been intimidated by the prospect of getting my work published. (I don't want to self-publish unless it's my last option.) But not this year. I'm going to go for it, because heck, I've been telling stories and writing since I was six.

Happy New Year from What-Are-They.com ! I hope you have a great one. Thanks for taking part in the hop.
I don't really have a New Year tradition. I like to do something different each year. Go with the flow and see where the tide takes me kind of attitude.
What book am I looking forward to coming out this year? My own... ;) Hey- I can hope!
I also hear that "The Burn Palace" by Stephen Dobyns is supposed to be good. That comes out in Feb.
I know a guy who went SCUBA diving under the water where New Year's fireworks were being set off this year. He got some neat shots of "how the fish see the celebration." That sounds like a fun place to ring in the new year!
Thanks for the giveaway! My resolution/goal is to get a new job.
